High Protein vegetarian Harissa Tofu Balls Power Bowl filled with protein packed Harissa Tofu Balls, fiber packed zesty mediterranean salad, creamy tzatziki and hummus over choice of grains!
I am a huge fan of Mediterranean flavors. Which is why I love treating myself with Cava here and there. They have amazing bowls with tons of options. But being a vegetarian I do wish they had vegetarian protein options that are some what macro friendly. Especially something with their famous harissa flavors. I do see harissa meatball options at many places including Cava. Which is the reason I felt the need to create something vegetarian friendly with harissa flavors.

If you have been following me for some time and visiting my blog periodically, you know by now I love playing around with tofu and different flavors. These Harissa Tofu Balls are an outcome of my such experiment. And I am pleasantly surprised with the results. These tofu balls came of extremely flavorful, moist and packed with tons of protein

These Harissa Tofu Balls are great as salad toppers, to make a fiber and protein packed power bowl or even a loaded mediterranean wraps. It pairs extremely well with creamy dreamy greek yogurt tzatziki ad hummus. A side of zesty mediterranean salad is a must with these balls. Place it all on top of your choice of grains like rice, quinoa, couscous, orzo etc.

My blog is to advocate people who think vegetarian diet is not a sustainable diet. Vegetarian food is soooo much beyond just steamed veggies with salt and pepper. And such recipes are the perfect example of it. This power bowl is packed with tremendous flavors, tons of fiber and protein and honestly super easy to make. If you like power bowls like this, you will also like my Tofu Fajita Chipotle Bowl. I highly suggest you give these a try and leave me your feedback either in the comment below of on Instagram @myvegetairanroots.

Thank you for all your recipes, I love them all! I really want to try this one, but I’m a little confused about one of the ingredients. In the Mediterranean salad, what are “ peppadew peppers sweet piquante sliced” . I know the sweet peppers come in a small bag. Please let me know, because I’d love to make this for lunch one day this week.
Thank you again
peppadew peppers sweet piquante sliced, they come in a jar or available at olive bar at Wegmans/whole foods/harris teeter like stores.
