Peachy Chana Dal Crostini

Peachy Chana Dal Crostini slathered with spicy goat cheese and topped with Indian street style chana dal, loaded with juicy sweet and sour peach, crunchy veggies, just right amount of spices with lemon and cilantro!!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Crusty French Baguette
  • ¼ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Cilantro
  • 4 tbsp Honey

Spicy Goat Cheese Spread

  • ½ block Goat Cheese
  • 1 tsp Trader Joes Bomba Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Milk

Instructions

  • Mix goat cheese, Trade Joes' bomba sauce and milk. Mix well until creamy. Keep it aside.
  • Preheat oven on 375°F.
  • Cut french baguette in ¼" thick slices.
  • Brush each slice with extra virgin olive oil on both sides.
  • Bake each slice for 4-6 minutes, or until crispy.
  • Make Peachy Chana Dal while the bread is toasting.
  • Once french baguette slices are toasted, spread generous amount of spicy goat cheese on each of them.
  • Top each slice with decent amount of Peachy Chana Dal.
  • Sprinkle some fresh cilantro on top, drizzle some honey and serve immediately with choice of beverage!
