Vegetarian pantry recipes that uses very basic pantry staples to make simple comfort food!
All of us are going through a very tough time at the moment. Due to Coronavirus / COVID-19 situation many of us are keeping ourselves in quarantine to prevent the spreading of this virus, we are required to cook lot more at home using basic pantry essentials. This post is to share few of my basic recipes that uses pantry staples. All the recipes mentioned on this post are using the below basic pantry staple ingredients!
What are basic pantry staples?
- Basic
- spices, oil, ghee, sugar, honey, maple syrup, tea, coffee, clean water, herbs, condiments, dairy, eggs, tofu, shelf milk, nuts, dry fruits, nut/seed butter, bread, roti, naan
(can be freeze easily)

- Grains/legumes
- rice, flour, pasta, quinoa, bulgur, couscous, oats, dry beans, lentils, cracked wheat, semolina, poha
- Canned food
- beans, veggies, fruits, sauce, broth
- Fresh Produce
- root vegetables like potatoes, sweet potatoes, ginger, beet roots, garlic, onions, chilis etc that last for long time or can free well. Green leaves like spinach kale, chard either fresh or frozen. Peppers, cauliflower, broccoli, fresh/frozen veggies, fresh/frozen fruits etc.
