Apple Oats Smoothie – delicately flavored plant based smoothie made with apple, oats, nut butter and sweet spices that is filling and nutritious!

Warmer days are all about light cool beverages, isn’t it?!?! I personally prefer light cold breakfast during warmer months. And that certainly calls for either OVERNIGHT CHIA OATS or smoothies! This smoothie is particularly my favorite because it is loaded with nutritional goodies. Morning on weekdays are super busy for this mamma, since I have to take care kid’s breakfast , lunch my own work and what not. So having quick easy options is a must!

Apple Oats Smoothie

This Apple Oats Smoothie does the job. It is quick and easy to make. Not just that, it is also packed with lot of good stuff like apples, oats, plant based milk, nut/seed butter with just right amount of sweet and spice! You simply blend all the ingredients to smooth consistency and it’s ready!! My kids absolutely love it. That means, I do not have to fight for feeding them breakfast. A decent serving of this would just be enough! Not just kids, but me and my husband absolutely love it too!!

And guess what, you can actually use it as chia pudding base. Make it at night, add some chia seeds. Mix well and let it sit in the fridge over night. Ingredients

  • 1 small Apple preferred Fuji or Gala
  • ¼ cup Oats either quick cook or rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp Nut Butter
  • 2 cup Plant Based Milk regular milk can be used too!
  • 1 tsp Maple Syrup or Honey 1 tsp for light sweetness, 2 tsp for more
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon Powder more or less based on preference
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg Powder more or less based on preference
  • ¾ cup Ice

Instructions

  • Blend all the ingredients to a smooth consistency and serve it immediately!!
