Spicy Papaya Salad
Green papaya salad with green beans, cherry tomatoes fresh spices and herbs along with crunchy roasted peanut is great for hot summer days meals to freshen you up!
Peel the papaya, cut it in half and take the seeds out with the spoon. Start grating it very thin and long like spaghetti. Add salt, maple syrup and lime juice to shredded papaya and now time to show some arm strength! The more you work on shredded papaya, salt, maple syrup and lime juice with some hand pressure the more juicy it gets. Its helps break the hardness down of the raw papaya! Add other veggies and cilantro as instructed in the recipe.
Prepare thai red chilli, salt, garlic and lime juice paste in mortar and pestle. I like to use mortar and pestle because it bring out all those raw flavor of the spices so well. And it also helps you control the consistency of the spice mix. Though, the food processor or chopper does not do any less of a job!
Mix prepared veggies and spice mix together very well when ready to eat. Sprinkle some roasted peanuts on top and enjoy the freshness!
