Tandoori Paneer Naan Pizza
Naan pizza topped with marinated tandoori paneer, spicy tangy crunchy veggies and cheese along with generous amount of minty yogurt sauce!
Who does not like tandoori paneer?!?! It is extremely flavorful and versatile. There are so many ways to use tandoori paneer. For example, curries, paninis, kathi rolls, wraps, salad and everyone’s favorite, Pizza! This recipe uses naan as a pizza base. Although you can certainly make your pizza base from scratch! Being a working mom of two kids, I try to find quick ways to make my meals and naans are my go to for that reason!
This marinated tandoori is extremely flavorful with spicy minty flavors. Paneer is like a sponge and soaks flavors so well! You can also use tofu for this recipe if you prefer, or any choice of protein that absorbs flavors easily. The longer you keep marinating the paneer, the better it tastes. I sometimes marinate paneer over the weekend and use it within couple of days. You can also marinate the paneer/tofu and freeze it. Simply thaw it when you need and use it in choice of recipes.
This pizza also has spicy cream cheese spread made out of plain cream cheese and Trader Joe’s spicy Bomba hot pepper sauce in addition to pizza sauce. One last thing to enhance the flavors is creamy minty yogurt sauce. Minty spicy yogurt complements tandoori flavors so well. And adds a touch of extra protein. I like to drizzle generous amount of spicy minty yogurt sauce on top of this pizza to complete the flavors.
