Crispy Tofu with spicy peanut marinade

Crispy Tofu with spicy peanut marinade

Being vegetarian, I try to find many different ways to increase my protein intake. One of the very common option is to include soy products to vegetarian diet like Tofu. My kids love tofu. I was not a big fan of it before, but as I play around with it more and more, I seem to like it more!

Tofu itself is very bland, it does not have any taste. Which makes it a good candidate for marinade. There are so many marinade options for tofu. This recipe uses peanut butter, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger and garlic. I like to prepare this ahead of time. I marinate tofu for couple of days. It tastes so much better if you marinate it overnight. And all you have to do is to just make it crispy on a pan with little oil. You can use this marinated tofu as it is like finger food or use it in fried rice, noodles, curry or on a buddha bowl!
