Mediterranean flavored pin wheels loaded with spinach and sun dried tomatoes!
This mediterranean pinwheels are great for the crowd. They are so easy to make and can be prepared ahead of time! It is loaded with sautéed spinach and flavored with sun-dried tomatoes. The cream cheese is mixed with sun-dried tomato pesto to add some extra flavor. Spinach artichoke dip as an additional spread adds so much creaminess to this appetizer. And last but not least the feta cheese adds not just that unique mediterranean, but also good texture. This appetizer is definitely a crowd pleaser. I include this appetizer when I host mediterranean themed food for big parties. They are gone in my parties within minutes! i guarantee the same for yours if you end up making these!

Mission, Garden Spinach Herb Wraps
Mediterranean Pinwheels
Ingredients
- 6 Flavored wraps 3 Missions sun dried tomato and basil wraps + 3 Missions spinach herb wraps
- ¾ cup Cream Cheese
- 1 tbsp Sun dried tomato and basil pesto
- ¾ cup Spinach Artichoke Dip
- 1 cup Sautéed spinach
- 1 cup Chopped sun dried tomatoes
- ¾ cup Feta Cheese
Sauteed Spinach
- 4 cup Finely Chopped Spinach
- 1 tbsp Peanut Oil
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper Powder
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp Onion Powder
Instructions
Prepare spinach
- Clean, wash, dry and finely chop spinach. You can just use chopped frozen spinach if you like.
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil. Once hot, sauté chopped spinach, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
- Keep sautéing until all the water from spinach is burnt out.
- Keep aside until cooked down.
Assemble pinwheels
- Mix ¾ cup of cream cheese with 1 tbsp of sun dried tomato and basil pesto.
- Spread generous amount of cream cheese mix on each flavored tortillas.
- Sprinkle sautéed spinach evenly on each tortillas.
- Sprinkle generous amount of chopped sun dried tomatoes on each tortillas.
- Spread spinach artichoke deep on each tortillas.
- Sprinkle feta cheese on each tortillas.
- Roll each tortilla tightly and each with saran wrap. Keep them in the fridge for 2-6 hours.
- Unwrap saran wrap from each tortilla roll and cut 1.5 inch pinwheels. Serve them cold or room temperature!
