Homemade Granola
Gluten free rolled oats, pecans, hemp seeds, coconut flakes, raisins along with good fat, maple syrup and subtle spices makes the best homemade granola!
Servings: 2
- 1 cup Gluten Free Rolled Oats
- ¾ cup Chopped Pecan
- ¾ cup Raisins
- ¼ cup Coconut Flakes
- ¼ cup Hemp Seeds
- 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1 tbsp Maple Syrup 2 tbsp for more sweetness
- 1 Flax Egg 1 tbsp ground flax meal + 3 tbsp of warm water
- ¼ tsp Nutmeg powder
- ¼ tsp Cinnamon Powder
- ¼ tsp Cardamom Powder
- ¼ tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 pinch Salt
Preheat oven on 325°F.
Mix everything but raisins in a big bowl.
Place the mixture on a parchment paper on a baking tray and bake it on 325°F for 25 min. Turning the tray half way through.
After 25 min, take the tray out of the oven and put the oven on 200°F.
Mix the partially baked granola with a spoon.
Mix it well and bake it on 200°F for 20 min.
Check on the granola after 20 min to check if it is nicely crispy. If not keep baking on 200°F for 5 minutes at a time until it gets crispy.
Once crispy, take it out of the oven let it cool down for few minutes and add raisins. Mix it well and save it in an air tight container!
Enjoy this gluten free granola with plant based or regular milk or with yogurt with some fresh fruit to make a perfect parfait!
