Boil tortellini as per instructions, cook it a minute under to keep it al dente. Keep it on side.
Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a wide shallow pot.
Once warm, add minced garlic, chopped hot red chilis and crushed red peppers to the oil.
Mix it and cook on medium heat until the raw smell of garlic goes away, for about couple of minutes, making sure the garlic does not burn.
Add marinara sauce, salt and mix well.
Add ¼ cup of cream cheese. Mix well until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. Make sure there are no cream cheese lumps left.
Add ½ cup of heavy cream and mix well. Simmer it for couple of minutes. Taste for salt, and add more if needed.
Add boiled tortellini and mix well.
Serve it hot with side of garlic roasted broccoli.
