Overnight Mango Chia Oats
Overnight Mango Chia Oats that tastes just like Indian dessert, simply made with hint of saffron & cardamom!
Servings: 2
- 1½ cup Oat Milk any preferred Dairy Free Milk, almond/cashew/soy/oat milk, or simply use regular milk
- ¼ cup Mango Pulp I like to use canned mango pulp for the ease, fresh pulp would work great too! Frozen mango cubes also work great.
- 2 tsp Honey OR Maple Syrup
- 2 tsp Cashew Butter I love one from Trader Joes
- ⅛ tsp Cardamom Powder
- 8 strands Saffron
- ½ cup Rolled Oats preferably gluten free rolled oats from Trader Joes
- 2 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 2 tbsp Slivered Cashews & Pistachios
- ¼ cup Fresh Mango Cubes
Simply mix all the above ingredients in a mason jar. Use fork to whisk it very well to avoid chia seeds to lump up. Refrigerate it overnight or at least 4-8 hours.
Before serving, Garnish it with more mango cubes and some more slivered nuts. Drizzle of mango pulp & milk (optional)! Add more milk to it if you like runny consistency.
