Mulled Wine
Mulled wine/Spiced wine, an Europe winter/holiday time warm beverage made with red wine and brandy along with various mulling spices.

- 2 750 ml Red Wine Bottles preferred Cabernet Sauvignon
- ½ cup Brandy
- ¼ cup Maple Syrup
- ¼ cup Orange Juice
- 2 sticks Cinnamon
- 4 Peppercorns
- 4 Cloves
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 1 inch Freshly Sliced Ginger
- 2 Star Anise
- 1 Freshly Sliced Orange
- 1 cup Fresh Cranberries
- 1 Large Spring Rosemary
- 1 tbsp Orange Zest
Garnishing
- ½ cup Fresh Cranberries
- 1 Sliced oranges
- 2-4 Small Springs Rosemary
- 4-6 Orange Peels
Sweet Glass Rim
- 1 Sliced Orange
- 1 tbsp Raw Sugar
- 1 tsp Crumbly Nutmeg Powder
Combine all the ingredients except the garnishing ingredients in a big pot.
Start bringing it to boil, as soon as you see the wine boiling, bring the heat down to low and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Wet the glass rim with orange slice, and dip the glass rim in the mixture of sugar and nutmeg powder. Let it dry for a minute or two.
Pour it out hot or warm in the prepared glasses with choice or garnishing! Straining the mulled wine is optional, depending on one's preference!
